I have turned registration for this site off. What I was seeing was dozens of registrations a day, all of which used throw-away email addresses, and none of which were used to leave comments. I conclude that essentially all of these registrations are script-kiddies trying to exploit an old WP vulnerability, and they are just a nuisance.
If you wish to just follow my site, there are two good ways to do that, 1) sign up for my newsletter, and 2) use the RSS feed.
If you wish to register so that you can leave a comment, please contact me using the contact form. Be sure to include your top 3 choices for a user name, and the reason that you would like a subscriber account to DFWPreppers.com. It may take up to a week to get your account, assuming that your IP and domain pass my abuse checks.

(Obligatory – but important – caveat: I am not a doctor and the following is not medical advice. Please check with your own physician and follow his recommendations and instructions.)
No matter who you are, and what illness you may suffer from, it’s important to be prepared for any emergency. However, there are special considerations for those who suffer from diabetes. Whether you have type 1 (formerly known as juvenile-onset or insulin-dependent) or type 2 (previously known as adult-onset), there are certain things you must do to care for yourself to maintain your ability to process food.

When disaster strikes, where will you go for refuge? Your basement? An underground bunker? Both good options, but there is one place that most people have not thought of: a self-storage unit.
