Essentials!
I have turned registration for this site off. What I was seeing was dozens of registrations a day, all of which used throw-away email addresses, and none of which were used to leave comments. I conclude that essentially all of these registrations are script-kiddies trying to exploit an old WP vulnerability, and they are just a nuisance.
If you wish to just follow my site, there are two good ways to do that, 1) sign up for my newsletter, and 2) use the RSS feed.
If you wish to register so that you can leave a comment, please contact me using the contact form. Be sure to include your top 3 choices for a user name, and the reason that you would like a subscriber account to DFWPreppers.com. It may take up to a week to get your account, assuming that your IP and domain pass my abuse checks.

Do you store foods you shouldn’t?
It’s time for me to live up to some of my promises. One of my commenters graciously welcomed me back and said she was looking forward to hearing about some of the topics I listed as “coming up.”

Cranberry-Licious!
I know that cranberries are far from being an essential food. However, they are tasty and have some great fiber, and are even known for their Vitamin C. Unfortunately, after canning, the Vitamin C is probably destroyed in these beauties, due to the heat involved, but we won’t belabor the details. We will enjoy what we have, be glad we have it, and save it for the future.

The pressure’s on!
One of the first things on most people’s minds when thinking about survival is food. While water is even more important, and we will be talking about that soon, water just doesn’t hold the excitement factor that food does.
