I have an affiliate relationship with the marketers of some of the items I link to on my blog.
I occasionally accept products in exchange for my reviews. Whenever that occurs, it is explicitly mentioned in the review.
I occasionally accept paid advertisements. Paid ads do not necessarily reflect my own point of view, although you can be assured that I do not accept ads that I find to be offensive, misleading, or false.
If you should find an ad that is inappropriate, please use the contact form to notify me. This can happen in cases where an affiliate program automatically sends ads, and I will terminate any affiliate program that sends me ads that are not appropriate.

Like many preppers, I am more connected to “The Grid” (including water, electricity, gas etc) than I want to be; an unavoidable by-product of suburban living. Grid-living is an addiction of sorts. And the first step in understanding any addiction is awareness. This is no different. This post shows you how I accomplished an awareness of my homes connections to The Grids and how you can too.
